Job Description
Important skill here would be- Building SQL Scripts to extract, transform, and load data from old structures to new structures
- Experience in completing the SQL scripts to convert the data within the schedule timeline
- J2EE/Java (JSP, EJB)
Mandatory Skills and Experience:
•Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related Information Technology (IT) fields
•Minimum of 7 years of work experience designing successful, large-scale IT projects
•Proficient database management system skills to build SQL scripts to extract, transform, and load data from old structures to new structures
•Analysis and understanding of data structures and schemas
•Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the data conversion process
•Ability to clearly communicate with team members and stakeholders about the data conversion process and any issues that arise
•Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to work under tight deadlines
•Understanding the system from which the data is being moved from and to
•Ability to handle sensitive data responsibly
•Strong SQL programming skills
•Experience in completing the SQL scripts to convert the data within the schedule timeline
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Strong collaboration skills with stakeholders and project team
•Ability to communicate the technical data conversion design in non-technical terms for the end-users to understand
•Experience working in a multi-vendor project team members
•Technical understanding of data conversion projects
