Infrastructure Analyst
The State of Wisconsin account is seeking an Infrastructure Analyst with extensive Java experience to support the Infrastructure Enabling Area.
Responsibilities
• Design, implement and maintain Java-based applications that can be high-volume and low-latency
• Analyze user requirements to define business objectives
• Define application objectives and functionality
• Ensure application designs conform with business goals
• Develop and test software
• Identify, resolve, and respond to any technical issues arising
• Create detailed design documentation
• Propose changes to current Java infrastructure and Architecture
• Develop technical designs for application development
• Write well designed, testable code
• Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging
• Manage Java and Java EE application development
• Support continuous improvement, investigating alternatives and technologies, and presenting for architectural review
• Understand Linux server structure and networking concepts
• Overseeing the DevOps process leveraging GitLab/Gearset for Salesforce projects, end to end – including backups
• Elevate our Salesforce CI/CD pipeline by optimizing the GitLab integration
• Willingness to learn and perform DevOps related tasks for server changes, deployments, and file transfers
• Perform merges, create workspace and branches to facilitate code management and migrations
• AWS Ecosystem management, specifically with DevOps tools such as Code commit, Code Build, CodePipilenes
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code Deployments using Terraform/CloudFormation templates
